TGIS

Many kids regard Saturdays as a day full of arcade shooting games and theme park rides and cotton candies. The higher ups regard this day as a golf tourney day, polo match day or shopping at your nearest organic or farmer's market. The working class, on the other hand, tend to gravitate to the shop around the nearest malls and eat out. Lastly, students ("student of life" as I would like to call myself) would just rather sleep off the whole day, watch some good (by their standards) tv and eat off their way until Sunday.

Alas, I could be a member of all these demographics. Today I got to do so many things! Let me count the ways:

1. Got to shoot some pistols (yessss REAL GUNS!) with my Dad at our make-shift firing range at home. I got to shoot some rounds with the 22 caliber and the 9mm. There's just something about the way you get to hit the target right where you want to hit 'em. Empowering. Badass. So beware boys, you wouldn't want to break my heart (HAHAHA i kid!!!) 

2. Went to Anticipated mass (yay 1st Sunday of Advent!) 

3. Went to the St. James Christmas Bazaar afterwards and got to window shop. 

4. Watched some How I Met Your Mother, Awkward and New Girl! 

5. Ate some pizza from Domino's and a huge-ass ice cream cone with dip from McDonald's. The ice cream was GINORMOUS. It was so big that it couldnt even fit in the cup!!! Man, me and my Mom were laughing so hard because we simply haven't seen an ice cream cone from McDo THAT BIG. Shallow huh? But hwho cares, it was hilarious! Haven't laughed my head off in a long while :)) 

6. And my Mom gave me some good advice on boys: Keep your options open. If the guy really likes you, there's a way. If not, he will always make some lame excuse. There are lot of fish in the sea so don't tie yourself to one coz you're still young.

Yep. I know Mom. If you knew how long ago I actually realized that with my ex. "Kung gusto may paraan. Kung ayaw, may dahilan." My mom did really give the right advice. Thank you :)

And so, Saturday was, to say the least, successful and awesome. I hope i get to have another Saturday like this :)
