Glad that I was able to have dinner with one of my undergrad friends tonight. We had a nice time catching up. :)
He's one of those people who I really look up to because you know that he deserves more than what he usually gets because
he works hard for it. And he really is an independent guy (in every sense of the word) traversing the harsh conditions of our daily living conditions here.
He's one of those guys you really want to see succeed (and to me, he is succeeding in what he is doing right now) because, again, he deserves it - with a gentleness and kind heart to boot.
People like him make you see the world as a better place. That there is hope in every dim situation you might possibly be in (His experiences are testament to this). That there is a rainbow after the rain. That smiles will prevail after a dark chapter of your life.
I'm just real glad that I'm friends with him. He is a reminder of what I should strive to be - determined, relentless but compassionate in every sense of the word.
Kudos to you my dearest friend.
